Codex Seraphinianus

Whatever I can write about one of the most intriguing and mysterious books ever written will pale in comparison to simply looking at some of the book’s images. The Codex Seraphinianus was written over the course of 30 months from 1976 to 1978 by Italian artist & architect Luigi Serafini. The book is essentially an encyclopedia of an unknown universe, written in an indecipherable language of the universe. I looked into acquiring a copy; they range from $330-550 on Amazon. Time to start saving.
The book consists of 11 chapters:
1 – Flora
2- Fauna
3 – People
4 – Physics & Chemistry
5 – Machines & Vehicles
6 – Biology & Sexuality
7 – History
8 – Writing system
9 – Food & Clothing
10 – Games & Sports
11 – Architecture
